• Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the India Energy Week 2024 in Goa, marking an important milestone in the country’s commitment to advancing the energy sector.
  • India Energy Week 2024 is organized to reduce carbon footprint and promote green energy sources. More than 35,000 people are participating in the event, including more than 4,000 delegates from more than 100 countries.
• प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने गोवा में भारत ऊर्जा सप्ताह 2024 का उद्घाटन किया, जो ऊर्जा क्षेत्र को आगे बढ़ाने की देश की प्रतिबद्धता में एक महत्वपूर्ण मील का पत्थर है।
  • भारत ऊर्जा सप्ताह 2024 का आयोजन कार्बन पदचिह्न को कम करने और हरित ऊर्जा स्रोतों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए किया जाता है। इस आयोजन में 35,000 से अधिक लोग भाग ले रहे हैं, जिनमें 100 से अधिक देशों के 4,000 से अधिक प्रतिनिधि शामिल हैं।

• Union Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy laid the foundation stone of the country’s first digital National Museum of Epigraphy at the Salar Jung Museum in Hyderabad.

• Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated the two-day Ullas Mela at Rashtriya Bal Bhavan, Delhi.
  • The program is organized by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education.
  • Seven hundred participants from various states and Union Territories and more than 100 people from the Ministry of Education and various organizations are participating in this programme.
• केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान ने दिल्ली के राष्ट्रीय बाल भवन में दो दिवसीय उल्लास मेले का उद्घाटन किया। कार्यक्रम का आयोजन शिक्षा मंत्रालय के स्कूली शिक्षा और साक्षरता विभाग द्वारा किया जाता है। इस कार्यक्रम में विभिन्न राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के सात सौ प्रतिभागी और शिक्षा मंत्रालय और विभिन्न संगठनों के 100 से अधिक लोग भाग ले रहे हैं।

• BIMSTEC Aquatics Championship 2024 is organized in New Delhi. Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur inaugurated the tournament.
  • The first BIMSTEC Aquatics Championship is being held from February 6 to February 9, 2024. BIMSTEC was established in 1997. This group consists of 7 countries (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and Thailand).

  • पहली बिम्सटेक एक्वेटिक्स चैंपियनशिप 6 फरवरी से 9 फरवरी 2024 तक आयोजित की जा रही है। बिम्सटेक की स्थापना 1997 में हुई थी। इस समूह में 7 देश (बांग्लादेश, भूटान, भारत, नेपाल, श्रीलंका, म्यांमार और थाईलैंड) शामिल हैं।

• The Ministry of Agriculture is mapping and documenting all the villages under the ‘Mera Gaon, Meri Dharohar’ (MGMD) programme.
  • The National Mission on Cultural Mapping is being run in coordination with the Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts (IGNCA) under the Ministry of Culture. A web portal on MGMD was launched on 27 July 2023.
• कृषि मंत्रालय ‘मेरा गांव, मेरी धरोहर’ (एमजीएमडी) कार्यक्रम के तहत सभी गांवों का मानचित्रण और दस्तावेजीकरण कर रहा है। सांस्कृतिक मानचित्रण पर राष्ट्रीय मिशन संस्कृति मंत्रालय के तहत इंदिरा गांधी राष्ट्रीय कला केंद्र (आईजीएनसीए) के समन्वय से चलाया जा रहा है। एमजीएमडी पर एक वेब पोर्टल 27 जुलाई 2023 को लॉन्च किया गया था।

• Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has presented the Uniform Civil Code in the Assembly.
  • The Bill will now be sent to the Governor. This bill will become a law after its approval. With this, Uttarakhand will become the first state in the country to implement UCC.
  • The Uniform Civil Code has been drafted on the basis of the report of the Justice Ranjana Desai Committee.
• उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने विधानसभा में समान नागरिक संहिता पेश की है. अब यह बिल राज्यपाल के पास भेजा जाएगा।
  • मंजूरी के बाद यह बिल कानून बन जाएगा. इसके साथ ही उत्तराखंड यूसीसी लागू करने वाला देश का पहला राज्य बन जाएगा। समान नागरिक संहिता का मसौदा न्यायमूर्ति रंजना देसाई समिति की रिपोर्ट के आधार पर तैयार किया गया है।

• Under the Regional Air Connectivity Scheme (RCS) ‘Ude Deshka Aam Nagarik’ (Ude Deshka Aam Nagarik-Udan) 519 air routes are being operated across the country so far.
  • 76 airports including 2 sea airports and 9 heliports are operational under the ‘Udan’ scheme. This scheme was launched in 2016.
• क्षेत्रीय हवाई संपर्क योजना (आरसीएस) ‘उड़े देशका आम नागरिक’ (उड़े देशका आम नागरिक-उड़ान) के तहत अब तक देशभर में 519 हवाई मार्ग संचालित किए जा रहे हैं।
  • ‘उड़ान’ योजना के तहत 2 समुद्री हवाई अड्डों और 9 हेलीपोर्ट सहित 76 हवाई अड्डे चालू हैं। यह योजना 2016 में शुरू की गई थी।
